Sarah had such a traumatic childhood, I should warn you - this isn’t a story for the faint hearted.Sarah's childhood was so horrific that, when she first sought Emergency Relief from Anglicare, she couldn’t recall large parts of it. Sarah had been mentally, physically and sexually abused. Horrors that she tried to escape, but continued to haunt her into adulthood. She isolated herself from society and has struggled to raise four children of her own. On the brink of homelessness and struggling to feed her children, she even contemplated taking her own life.
In the 12 months since Sarah first came to us, Anglicare have helped her to turn her life around.
I thank God, that Sarah turned to us when she did. She and her children have passed through the worst now, but they still need your help with ongoing counselling and financial assistance.
